break even
  1) Termine genericamente usato per designare un criterio di confronto tra due strategie d'investimento. Il break even è il valore al quale due attività finanziarie divengono ugualmente profittevoli. Se riferito a opzioni, warrants o CWs, rappresenta invece il livello del prezzo del sottostante che rende il payoff dell'investimento pari a zero.
  2) Il break even nelle attività speculative e operative in genere è usato per indicare il livello di uscita da un'operazione allo stesso prezzo dell'apertura, senza conseguire ne guadagni ne perdite al netto delle commissioni.
